My idea exactly. I even personally know someone with the perfect set of hardware waiting for installation. ADC T3/T4 Turbo kit, HMS prepped MTX75, AER 3L longblock,....

The problem is that Saleen is just plain ugly (and I know its a matter of taste). The wing would have to go before I'd even park it in my garage. Seriously. Its about as far from the "sleeper" SVT concept I have as you can go.

Regardless, this car has serious panache among Ford enthusiasts and will probably only increase in value - as long as its not wrecked!

Is there any negotiating room with that price? I suppose not. Some crazed enthusiast will scoop it up for their Saleen trophy garage. Me? I'd hot rod the thing to near the current limits of the platform and scare the hell out of my wife (not). The truth is she'd drive it harder at the track than I would.

I wonder if it comes with an agreement with Saleen to never sell or allow anyone else to sell that body kit.
