Where there's yellow rattle-can spray paint, eBay and SVT-Driver627-Alex, there's even a way to make a rickshaw ricier!

And it would go in a climate controlled garage and only be brought out for car shows. Idk if i would have the heart to drive it....after all, it is 1 of 1.
dude its a CAR. cars are not ment to sit in a temperature controlled garage. cars are not ment to sit at car shows and be rubbed down with a diaper all day . it kinda pisses me off to think this is what real people do with real cars. and its 1 of 1? so what? i mean really it is still just a contour.

Alex said that the cars runs but by no means "drives nice" i am waiting for him to elaborate on what that means.
NY State Trooper: So what makes your car so special to have SVT all over it?

these were his exact words: "It would need some work.
For years it was kept inside the production warehouse and they would start it and pull it outside in the morning and then bring it back in at night. The car starts and can be driven but it would need some work to make it any long distance. Iâ??m not sure exactly what it would need. It may be possible for us to get it back into driving condition but the price would obviously go up from the â??as isâ? price."
i cant imagine what it would need other than maybe an intake cleaning and coolant flush. maybe a clutch?
also looking at the crack in the front valence, it seems it might go thru the CF below it, which might lead to a very costly repair.

hahahahahaha! so add on add on a couple of grand more to make it drive like a $20k contour?!
i wonder if they just left it as is when they yanked the supercharger off. could that be why its not running "right"
that car was not at last year's Saleen show. nowhere to be seen. and believe me, we looked for it!
anybody else see a little bit of S7 in that body kit?

LOL. I'm sure all the TRUE Hemi Cuda/Roadrunner/Superbird, etc.. owners are saying that too as well as all the other rare vehicle owners. I am a car enthusiast and i understand and agree that cars should be driven. Idk if you saw the Barret-Jackson auction with that one-off Buick prototype or whatever. I'm sure we'll be seeing that driving down your local boulevard sometime soon . The Saleen SVT isn't worth 20k right now, but say 15-20 years down the road when there aren't many SVT's left and it's still the only 1 of 1 Saleen I bet it'll be worth some unreal amount of money to a collector. (if it were to not get in an accident...lets see a body shop re-create those bumpers )
A Contour is not just a car, it's an experience
