Someone explain why it needed 25 oil changes? Seriously. How long can a car sit before it needs a change? What happens to the oil as it site in the car? Always drive my cars so I've never read up on it.

id consider it, maaaybe for $15k. brand new, one of a kind, looks pretty damn good imo. imagine taking that to a road course! everyone would think you were there to rip up the course (until it actually runs  toss in a turhbo 3L w/ supporting goodies and a TH trans

over time, oil begins to lose it's viscosity. it doesnt matter if its used on a daily basis, like in an active engine, but after a certain period, it no longer has the ability to lubricate like it should.
at least thats what i understand from reading up on it.

See I think it would be cooler to put the supercharger back in , and leave it how saleen assembled it.
You can put a track monster together for much cheaper than that ;p
