well - currently I guess you could say I have four jobs.

1. Student - Graduating with my BS in Manufacturing Engineering this Aug. Taking the Professional exam this May so it will then be Horse CMT (like Horse MD. . .)
Pay: your kidding right? I have to pay THEM!
2. CAD designer - Work at a precision machine shop
Pay: low - and only for 20 hrs a week. But I work for Cash in hand for outside customers and recieve bonuses etc for their work. Funny thing is its encouraged at the shop.
3. 911/Police/Fire/EMD dispatcher
Pay: too low and too much stress, now PT after over 2 years being FT.
4. Maintenence - I work for rent money and then some at my apt complex, completly off the books and man its nice!
Pay: $10/hr toward rent and then in cash.

I need to drop like - 3 of those!

Senior IT Manager at a top 15 law firm, will be here four years in May 06 (woo hoo, one more year til my pension vests! ). Before that, for the most part, I worked as a senior IT architect/consultant for messaging migration projects for several years, also had a stint as an app dev guy for about two years.

Salary: It's never enough.

Generic Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant II

Specific Job Description: User Rep for product cost systems at Caterpillar. I talk to and help accountants around the world use the tools available to them to develop actual and standard costs following corporate procedures.

Professional designations I have:
CPA - Certified Public Accountant
FLMI (with Distinction) - Fellow of the Life Management Institute, (a Life Insurance management designation)

Pay: not bad. Benefits: pretty good.

Note: we have openings for Accountants throughout the company... anyone interested let me know. Look here

I too used to work at a Best Buy store in Mobile Audio (and some Home too) for 5 years. I was essentially the trainer for the store and had the responsibility for getting new hires in the department up to speed. Not bad for only being part time (Sat/Sun only) while working a full time job as an accountant for an insurance company in downtown Chicago. They would have made me the supervisor (actually offered it to me) but they couldn't afford me. :-)
