Next time you are in a plane waiting at the gate, look outside at all the big boxes they load with luggage, then lock up and load on the plane. I make those. Currently finishing a bunch for Saudi Airlines. Also part supervisor, maintainance, CNC operator, and trainer. $12/hour with loads of O/T.
Pretty decent $$ for the area....

I work at best buy as a mobile floor sales man making 8.30 per hr... hopefully going to become an installer when im 18.

haha, our best buy is actually good installers.... VERY FEW OF THOSE EXIST....
and i can install im not a retard.. the mecp means nothing its simple stuff

<--- Former Best Buy MECP first class installer, Installer of the month for District 1 4 months in a row.
The MECP means Everything when you have to have it to work as a installer at best buy.
MECP is simple? have you even looked at the test? being under 18 i highly doubt it. Not as easy as you think it is.

i don't really know what the title is for what i do, and it would take way too long to explain, so i'll just say i collect information for clients, and get paid $10/hr plus $.40/mile for any traveling i need to do (And i drive every day... sometimes over 250 miles in a week.). and that pays enough for now. and yes, it is full time.

Ok, the math on those are easy. I am under 18 and in AP Calc A and i find that math simple on the mecp. I passed the pretest with a 95 which was easy and evyerone that has taken it has said the pretest was identicle except out of order.
MECP means nothing... experience, now thats what everybody needs.
MECP does not teach you that an old honda radio needs to stay in the back of the dashboard so the alarm and power locks work now does it....etc?

welp hopefully you get alot of expirence before spitting out outlandish claims like almost every other BB/CC installer i have ever met. Yes there is good best buy installers but most have major problems with custom work, and Hard alarm installs. Installing radios and Amps pays next to nothing in the world outside of best buy. But hopefully you get some good background. Everyone has to start some where. I just think everyone should start at a school like mobile dynamics or installer institute.
