it is always the media making it look like we can't get along and all that stuff. what type of story would they have if there was no arguements about everything and everything. And a reason why we are the leaders of handgun violence, look at how many people we have + how many other countries outlaw guns = U.S. being number 1, number 1 ----go us!--- But seriously, look at every other heavily populated country on the planet and can they have guns...nope. Then you also have to look at countries like vensuala and south africa where people are kidnapped and murdered all the time but they don't have as large of a population. The real question is what % of the population has commited a violence with a handgun. And besides, canada is just part of the united states anyway.
