well just checked with the "boss" and I should be able to make it, pending any life imposing situations....
so how long do you think it would take to get to San Jose from Sacto? I've only been there a couple of times, and it was ~3 hours I think....

It takes me about an hour and a half to get from Davis from San Mateo (if I take I-80), and it's another 30 min to McCarthy Ranch. So about 2-3 hours is about right (all depends on traffic and your speed :D). I have no idea if you are going to save time if you take I-5, or go on I-80 south and then to 680 (this might be a better way go get to SJ for you). Hope to see you all there.

It seems as if we have alot of folks in three different areas. lets see a post of how many peeps we have in sac town, and another of how many peeps we have in the east bay and SF area, and maby the folks in the north bay could meet up with the east bay folks and then the peeps in sac could meet up with each other and then the san jo peeps meet at mc arthy and then set up a rondevu "spelling?" point to meet with all three groups and then have a drive set from there or even just a meet with a lunch or somthing. It doesnt always have to be the same thing all the time...

When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet. When toast is dropped, it always lands butter-side-down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the cat's feet, butter facing up. The two will hover, spinning, inches above the ground. With a giant buttered-toast/cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

Saturn, I am actually going to be driving from San Mateo. I was in Davis for college, but I just graduated, so I am back in the Bay Area. Originally posted by Saturn_k1: [QB] what part of Davis do you live? You wanna ride with us? QB]
