There are four bolts, one at each corner of the car. They control the vertical position of the leaf springs. A few quick turns at each side and some measuring and the car is lowered. GM basically built it into the suspension design. If your dealer is nice they will do it for you. Only takes about 30 minutes.
Cool stuff huh?

My brother bought a new 2004 C5 just as the 05's were hitting the lots. Serious discount from the Corvette King. Torch Red, Glass roof, 6-speed. It is very fun to drive, and it does get driven. it is his DD from about Easter through mid-Nov, then stored for winter.

A guy I used to work with has a '04 Z06. He track-races it AND drives it to work whenever the conditions are reasonably conducive to 405hp. And he never takes the numbers off the door.

Respect. Might affect the resale value unless he removes the numbers before he sells it though
FWIW there are a couple of dealers who give pretty nice discounts through www.corvetteforum.com's cars for sale forum.

White looks awesome on the C5's. Very nice choice!

Hmmm. That wasn't nice.
Apparantly the sarcasm was not blatant enough for you. Let me spell it out for all of you who don't seem to get it like Mr. Y2KSVT...
Putting $20 mufflers on $45K sports car= sarcastically absurd humor.
Get it now, smart guy?
