http://uk.us.biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060330/clth050.html?.v=46They're giving free shots of espresso all day today and tomorrow for Americans b/c of daylight savings time. I'd recommend calling your local store before heading out, one of the places I called had no idea what I was talking about. Anyways, enjoy! This is a perfect deal for those of us who are currently studying for finals!

Very cool, but good espresso (i.e., coming from good beans and a good machine that gets HOT) will typically have less caffeine than your averge cup of Joe from Starbucks or pretty much anywhere else...
While the taste is more intense and concentrated, the "effects" aren't as great. Nice marketing ploy, though.

It's funny that North America and Europe have different days for going to daylight savings time. We did this about two weeks ago.

Date change in 2007
On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.
Reading Franklin's essay on there was pretty entertaining too.

I've been reading it... very interesting.
Check out this guy! I gotta give it to him, pretty smart idea:

A man, born just after 12:00 a.m. DST, circumvented the Vietnam War draft by using a daylight saving time loophole. When drafted, he argued that standard time, not DST, was the official time for recording births in his state of Delaware in the year of his birth. Thus, under official standard time he was actually born on the previous dayâ??and that day had a much higher draft lottery number, allowing him to avoid the draft.
Go Iowa!
