Yes but I had did it before on my protege. So i just did what i did the first time. Its not hard at all. If you start peeling the glue off from the turn signal side its alot easier.

I was under the impression that that way involved cutting and no need for the oven. And I have heard that the oven trick was diffrent. It just melts the silicone and the headlight just comes apart. no cutting needed.

it took awhile alot longer than it should. but about 4 hours.. But thats including painting and drying and recoating and all that. But it prob took me about 1 hour to get the headlights open. Its very very easy not hard at all. 250degrees, put in ove n for about 8-10 minutes, take it out and start seperating the glued areas with a screwdriver, its easier to start from the area where the turn signal is because u will have a little leverage for the screwdriver so u can pry a bit easier. Only thing i messed on is the sealing, i dotn think i did a good enough job, but only time will tell tho.

Maybe i will try it out with my spare set of headlights. Just not sure if i like them on T-Red cars.

i believe its the PLasti-kote fusion paint. But i jsut rememeber it has fusion on it.

Really looks great on your car. I think black headlights or painted headlights is one of the best mods you can do on a contour. Not cause I have them.....
