They do whine, it's just a completely different category of whine than you must be used to. Some people call it a whistle. Some people call it a whine. Some people call it annoying as all hell, but that *noise* is still there.
You got me, I have no idea how a turbo sounds, I only had a turbo car for 2 friggin years, how long have you owned a turbo'd car?
This is just splitting hairs though, it really boils down to you always saying ish that isn't true. Stuff like "yeah my friend has a 83 Vette 6-wheel drive with a straight 12 diesel"....
does it really matter what you call it?

FWIW, the turbo has more of a "whistle" and the blower has a "whine". My old 87' GN "whistled while it worked", especially with the dump pipe opened up, then it sounded like a huge mosquito With the torque steer being a problem in this car, whats going to be the deal with the stage I and II kits, should make for some interesting driving, thats for sure I'm going to need to see some pics of this car in other colors, maybe the metallic black will make it look "different" in the rear If you can get a loaded one for $25K, theres going to be ALOT of them around, so we'll have to try and get used to them. Does anyone have any guess-timates on how much more power the car will make with the stage I and II kits Also, what about those 19" wheels, are they there to fill in the wheelwells and/or help with the torque steer because I feel they're going to weigh TOO much and maybe some 18's are in order, along with some H&R's

Why downsize a stock wheel? If its designed with 19's in mind, keep 19's on it, otherwise its going to look stupid. Dropping to 18's isnt going to help all that much.

I think the SRT-C isn't the best looking vehicle but its definitely one of the better vehicles from Dodge lately.

I'm not one to usually play the weight game as others do here, but in this case, well, its applicable. When going for performance, why in the hell would you want to turn a heavy, 19" rim when you could get some lighter, 18" and increase the performance some, in both acceleration, braking and steering I'm not sayin' the stock 19" isn't nice, it is and would make a great wheel for snow tires I'm sure a quality BBS or Enkie wheel will find its way onto those once they come out as people find out what that thing weighs Any guess' what a 19" x 7.5" wheel would weigh
