3M double sided tape FTW

LOL at Rawburt....double sided tape if it sits long enough will mess up your stock gauges too....just like the adhesive.

I took it all apart again tonight and bent the 2 side connections as recommended and used large pieces of 3M tape vs a ton of tiny little ones..

My needles do not rub in the least now but I accidently popped off the tach needle when I was lifting up underneath one time.. I attempted to put it at where I thought the "normal" idle was but I'm a bit off.. instead of using the tach as a reference for shifting (I'm a bit of a rookie yet) I have to do it by sound only.. I think its off about 1000 rpm..

As far as finding that white relay.. does anyone have a picture of what I'm searching for? I looked everywhere under the dash near the headlight area and I did not see a white relay -- is it taped up inside of some sort of bundle perhaps? I held everything I thought it could be and turned on the fogs several times and heard or felt no clicking.

Now that you finally fixed that, how about paying for your damn pedals in the group buy?

paid - thanks for the reminder... I asked the guy that I gave my address to for a PM at the time that he's ready for payment as a reminder and didn't get one.. I don't read the GB section all that much so I keep my modding to a minimum on this car - otherwise it might get out of control like the Cougar did.

We tapped into the headlight switch wires and they come on with my parking lights.. I believe it was the yellow wire and the red w/black stripe.. we are going to do the fog mod as well later.

Going to attempt to put my gauges in this Sunday. How long does it roughly take?

taking apart the dash is easy and whatnot.. longest time was running the wires thru the pod all nice and using the double sided tape on the back so it all sits flush..

I'd allow yourself about 2 hours start to finish at the most.
