If it's in TIME, it must be true.

I don't think there is much dispute that we are in a warming trend. The dispute centers around whether the trend is a) man-induced and b) to continue unabated, culminating in an apocolyptic scenario.

Many scientists (and college professors) are in dispute about these points. Many of the conclusions of the doomsayers are based on debatable assumptions.

I didn't buy into it when he first brought it up in class. I thought he was just pushing his own personal beliefs on us, but I am going to listen to a professor with a doctorate and TIME magazine over some guy in KS!

What happened to the holes in the Ozone...guess what hypotheses change! It seems that the ice caps melting have become more of an issue than the holes in the Ozone.
