Let's just say that my flex pipes drag in <2" of snow

Can't stick my foot under the ground effects on each side of the wheels...

Yeah, it's about that low!

...But it also has adjustable height springs.

height is not adjustable on anything but ground control coilovers. The Koni's allow you to adjust them from soft to hard. It is a simple knob you put on the top of the strut and turn. You can easily adjust while everything is on the car. The install is te same difficulty for whatever suspension setup you get. It is pretty easy and can be done in half a day. All you need is basic tools and free loaner spring compressor from a auto parts store like autozone. I think there is a how-to posted somewhere.

I had BAT springs on my car along with the Bilsteins they offer and my car didn't really drop too much, but it sure did handle good though , something to keep in mind.

I really really wish the dampening curves were available for the various struts available for the contour

I'm going to be buying a set of something soon, but I want what is actually going to handle the best and make the car quicker around a track, and not what "feels fastest".

I'm not convinced that the koni is the fastest way to go, because they tend to jack up the rebound damping to give the car a "racier" feel, but, it makes the car slower around corners than it could be if properly developed. I realize these comments will piss some koni owners off, but oh well. And fwiw, I've discussed the options at length with the guy that did the tuning for the SVT Contour, and the SVT Focus, and the Cobra R, and the upcoming GT500, and he agrees with me . . .

Boy do I wish I could get some triple adjustable Motons for the Contour for the same price as a set of Koni's
