Carfax claims me as the fourth. I think the second person had a lot of bad luck with the car. Previous person liked the car.

ROTFL. I'm just slow.  . Actually, I didn't know of "car-web-site-thingies" until the CEL started lighting up all the time and the indie said "need to change the catalytic converter" without even doing a test. I went online and found some info on P0420 but lurked for about 6 months before registering and posting.

I was the 2nd owner of my '95 SE - bought it in '97 w/20k on it - traded it in on my SVT
I'm the original owner of my '00 CSVT - bought in Jan '01 - the 13th from the last CSVT made (on 2.4.00) , so that makes it #11,432 of 11,445 SVT Contours ever produced  .

Well, I am the first "person" to own my SVT, but it already had 33k miles on it when I got it in June 99.
It was a leased vehicle to someone in/near Atlanta GA but the only previous owner was FoMoCo (or whoever owns the cars Ford leases).
