It depends on what you want out of the car. Do you have an SE, SVT etc? And what year? more information makes for more informed advice.
Monroes are often a lower-end replacement for stoock. they do make some decent stuff, decent durability, et al, but not very good for the more enthusiastic driver as a rule.
Peronally, I would avoid replacing two struts with one brand, and two struts with another. If they are valved differently, you can mess up both your ride and your handling.
If you are after a more sporting feel, SVT struts are great on 98+ cars, and pretty economical from Bill Jenkins.
