Both the Fusion and the Five Hundred replaced the Taurus, not just one or the other. The Five Hundred is aimed at the older crowd, and straddles the market between the Taurus and the Crown Vic. The Fusion is aimed at the younger to middle-age crowd and aims at the Taurus and the would-be Contour (if they still had one) market. Of the two, the Fusion is most definitely the one most aimed at the Camry and Accord not the Five Hundred. The primary Toyota competitor to the Five Hundred would be the Avalon not the Camry.
