Mine was 1 hole off on a couple of the cuts,but like said before a pair of tin snips solved it.The mesh looks great!

Here are some pictures of elky mesh on the oval ring.



At this point I used the shortest screws to secure the mesh to the oval in 4 locations. I used the midlength screw to hold the black part to the oval on the top center. The largest size silver screws I used in three locations on the bottom of the black part to attach it to the oval.


Here are the three sizes of trim screws that I used.

So do you cut the old mesh out and use the outer ring to secure the new mesh in?

Exactly. It was a bit of a pain to sand down all the leftovers after cutting so have some mean sand paper around to do most of the dirty work.
