The car in the video is an M3 GTR, which has only slightly more similarity to a regular M3 than a NASCAR Taurus does to your Mom's car. Even though I love the M3, the car in the vid is not that.
What impresses me more than the car, though, is the driver. Google Hans Stuck and you'll see what I mean. Watching him go around Nurburgring is like watching BB King play guitar.
