I have something like that... The MAF adapter and filter was all that I ended up using. I didn't care about the straight pipe, and honestly could never figure it all out...
The filter was crap and was replaced fairly quickly by a K & open conical.
It appears that the MAF adapter does have a slot for the Air temp sensor, that is important.
Works fine. Nothing special. Unless you want the polished straight pipe, you might do better looking on ebay for a MAF adapter with a K & N.

Filters are crap, and I remember hearing something about the ID of the MAF adapter isnt as big as the on the MAF itself. I don't remember how accurate that is though. So since youd have to buy a filter anyways...most people get a maf adapter from spmotorsports or a local car place that carries them...and a K&N filter.

i got one for xmas from my family it works good, if you dont use the supplied filter, i also had to plug one hole one the maf adapter and drill a hole where the acordian(sp?) pipe goes for the temp sensor. i also ditched the hoses for longer higher quality ones and bought some hose clamps to hold all the side vaccum lines on. i wish i didnt have dial up i would post pics

how much was the kit.. cause you probably wasted money on all the custom fabrication crap.

I bought a BOMZ one on ebay, as nice as I'd want, How hard could it be to weld a few bungs on a straight pipe and flange? Cost me 60 bucks shipped, thank you
