I think you guys are over doing it a bit. I actually purchased that kit for my last car. Overall I'd say it was worth the $30. The MAF adapter fits a 3" filter and you need to trim the air temp sensor a bit to get it to fit snug. The finish on the metal is of poorer quality but I could live with it. It came with everything needed except for a good filter but I still ran that one for almost a year without one problem.

Personally it is a good intake setup for someone on a tight budget.

EDIT:
I found a picture of my old engine bay, don't laugh too much, even though I'm laughing at myself right now at how chitty my engine bay looked

the intake is junk, maf adaptor is too small for our maf diameter. i know, because i voted for it after i voted against it

Its junk return it for ur money. It is made cheaply, i was able to bend the tips. The metal on the tips were so flimsy, i laughed , also the slicon adaprtors never fit my car. Seems like it intake was made in china

Well I'll tell ya what guy. When I bought my 2000 CSVT it already had some performance goodies on it. One of them HAS to be that exact damn kit (cept mine is red). Now I have a higlhy modded 3L in there and it seems to work fine. I do have a K&N on it tho. The only gripe that I have is the IAT sensor does NOT fit properly and has been simply electrical taped to the side of the intake pipe (I need to fix it right). That and the idiot that installed it had the MAF on backwards (you can install it 2 ways)! Oddly enough I never had a CEL or driveability issue because of it. Dunno.

EDIT:
Oh and the filter rubbs against my hood.
