The water is about 10degrees

It looks a little to fluid to be that cold.

10 degree celsius is 50 degrees fahrenheit.

I'm not sure about MI(never have been ) but the rest of the US measures temperature the Fahrenheit way which would make 10 degree water 22 degrees below the temperature that water freezes at(thank you Mr. Science). That's when they stop calling it water and start calling it ice!

What ever temp it was, it was cold enough that ice started to form so they had to delay the starting of the event and remove it. And it was pond water and had sat in the snow for 2 days. As soon as i hit the water i couldnt say anything, it was like a kick in the pants, my hand immediatly turned red and stung like no ones business.

But it was definately alot of fun.
