Hey guys,
Long time no write, I know. I just completed the move to Modesto.
Check out what I heard from a Mercury dealer though. Apparently, as early as THIS summer, Mercury is coming out with a special edition Cougar. 196hp V6! Looks like they've been stealing powerplants from the SVT guys. I think I saw one. They only come in yellow, and have 17 inch rims, stock.
Very interestin.

Well it looks like we will have some competition! Even more reason for me to get a 3.0!

that project is supposed to be dead. mercury couldn't quite get to 196 w/o SVT parts, and SVT wouldn't let them use their parts. But there are 2 sport appearance packages this summer, nothin for performance though
