Ok folks well I am glad we got back up and running here on the forum!!! but hey yesterday I was driving to work and all of a sudden I see these head lights coming up behind my at a rapid rate so I slowed down, and swish goes a contour flying buy!!! so naturaly I speed up to try and see if I can catch up and well sinse I was driveing the jetta I did  lol any way we were driveing along side of each other at 100 plus it was fun! in fact the fastist I ever got to work but bro who are you? and if your not in the group why the hell not? This was a first gen blue or green tour that goes hella fast!!! what do you have in there!!!!

ha ha friken ha ha!!!! the jetta is slower then the svt or even my tour I am sure by far but you have to think the svt has a 2.5 and the jetta is a 2.0,hmmmm it goes pretty fast just a note yesterday I was driving down 280 going 100mph in fourth and my rpm was only at 3k so if that says anything???

I think that bluish/green '95 'Tour was mine!
I was on 280 at night though, so maybe it was someone else. I have a teal '95 SE...I hardly see any teal colored ones.

he was talkin about his jetta, different gearing, different size tires have totally different effects on RPM/speed comparisons.

hey now what is that suposed to mean? I love both my cars, ok ok so we dont have his and hers contours but sheeesh vw is not a bad car in fact I know of at least four peeps that are vw owners and contour ceg members..lets see mystikal"white mk3 jetta" 3.0svt"mk4GTIvr6" Kevin"jetta" me mk3jetta so :p
