quick question-- If your in the market for an intake, does it matter which one you choose? I'm obviously not talking about a cheap e-bay intake but.. in comparison to say, a CTA motorsports or BAT intake or whichever you have-- which one would you prefer?

Also, is there any difference if you were to just cut your airbox so your current stock filter can be open instead of covered?

Just buy a K&N Filter and a MAF adapter.

MAF+RU-3530.. or get a 1785.. or 1875 whatever it is, thats the one i have.

To be simple, just get the MAF adapter from SP Motorsports. Its not the cheap way to do it though...
