Let me show my "automotive ignorance" here The Buick motor is a torque monster and if its a 70' GS455, its puttin' down 510 ft/lbs of torque @2800 rpm and thats in stock trim! Horsepower is "rated" @ 370. Adding a set of headers, aluminum intake, better carb thats re-jetted and messing with the timing, should net pretty good results. Now if you get into a set of aluminum heads and bump up the compression ratio, not to mention a good roller cam, look out
