Unregistered - you CAN get an aftermarket CSVT grille WITH the proper insert , BTW - so that's not a biggie .
Glad to hear that it's not getting totalled (wipes forehead) . As others have said , lots of pics when she's back up to snuff  !

Wrong.. In MI everybody has to file through their own carrier unless it is a "hit while parked" incident in which you would be able to file though the at fault party.
If he has LIPD only, the most he can do is file for a mini-tort through the at fault carrier for a max of $500.
If you have Broad form collision coverage your golden.. won't have to pay a dime.
You are right about the MI No-Fault provision with respect to Property Damage but I don't know how Broad Form ultimately helps other than out of pocket following a loss, as the carrier can raise your rates based on frequency of loss. MI system is crazy!
That it is.. but from the looks of things he doesn't have a history of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. he's tagged not at fault. shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Not so, you can get rear ended 3 times and the carrier can raise your rates based on frequency of loss. Unless MI No Fault law contains a provision to the contrary, whenever a carrier pays out, they will take the loss into consideration with any other future loss within 3 years. MI insurance

Thats basicly what I was saying.. and from the (no longer a virgin) comment. It sounds like he doesn't have a history of being hit.

No, no new paint job, just the right side. The shop I took it to has a reputation for excellent work. They repair all the exotics in our area. They can match the finish perfectly. Besides, the paint on my car is like new, except for the right side.  My car is in the shop right now. Next to it, in the shop, is a bright yellow Countach with a small bump on the left front corner.

ask him how much more it would cost to paint the whole car, since he is pretty close to doing it might not be to expensive, just pay the difference the insurance is paying already. friend of mine did that and it worked out nice since the insurance company was paying to paint half his car. just a thought.

If the shop can match my paint, perfectly, why would I want my whole car painted? Besides, my experience is that re-paints tend not to be as durable as factory paint.
