No, no Para Ordinance.

Kimber is much better for the price.

I bought a Kimber Compact Classic around 6 years ago and all my shooting buddies like it better than what they are shooting. It isn't even a full size 1911.

I'd die if I had that gun. I would be too afraid to pull the trigger!

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

My 357 Mag kicks like crazy - but I want a semi-auto. The Kimber or....a CZ52 s what I want next.

Amazing that you bring this subject up.....I fired an EXCELLENT .45 ACP over the weekend (gotta get in some practice before Basic training). A Smith and Wesson Performance center Model 945 link: S&W Model 945

I fired 50 rounds through this firearm, and, with one string of 8 shots of 230 grain FMJ's, fired a best group of 2.5" with one flyer, all in the 10X at 50 feet.....for a 1911 copy to fire that well out of the box with "range handloads"(granted this WAS the Smith and Wesson indoor range so it's their handloads)is pretty respectable IMHO.

BTW, the S&W 460 and 500 magnum handguns are just freakishly large!! I would have rented one, but it was something like 25$ for 10 shots out of that beast!!

while a cool gun, i'm not sure about the usability of the .50 cal handgun.

mark, though i've never shot one, everything i've heard about the warrior has been glowing. let me know if you want to go shooting sometime, gimpy!

A .50 cal is a shooting-range queen; it's not a "working" gun unless you've got arms the size of tree-trunks.

Gas-operated or not, the recoil is just too nasty...
