Classic, CQB or Protector are all smashing guns. I have a two-tone Classic that I traded up to and have loved it...
I would LOVE to get another Wilson, but they've really jacked their prices up over the past couple of years.
Since I'm the farthest thing from a hitman around, it's really tough to justify paying $2-3K for a 1911, especially when Kimber builds almost as good a gun for a LOT less. I think their latest price-raises were $700 on average from when I last looked at them...
Bill Wilson is just a touch too proud of his work, despite it being damn-good. This is why Kimber is on my radar-screen for my next 1911.
