And I responded to your post on NECO, Instigator- You pushed the fill-neck seal into the tank- No seal = lots of fuel on the ground!

Can't cut some sheetmetal?? Hardly. One look at the amount of work to drop the tank versus two 2" cuts that allowed me to bend the metal up enough to R&R the pump....I was sold. Took all of two seconds to decide that mental battle.
Especially when it is covered by the seat, can be bent back into place, and sealed with RTV along with the stock rubber plug put back into it. No leaks, no corrosion, no excess work, no issues with structural integrity........
...having the time to go blow more money on my Visa Card....priceless.
