I told you guys this before- Cougar's access ports in the rear floorboards are too small to fit the pump housing through! You'd have to cut the floor, then find some boondoggle to re-seal the thing. No thanks. The tank drop is easy enough.

And I responded to your post on NECO, Instigator- You pushed the fill-neck seal into the tank- No seal = lots of fuel on the ground!

So are the contours.

Can't cut some sheetmetal?? Hardly. One look at the amount of work to drop the tank versus two 2" cuts that allowed me to bend the metal up enough to R&R the pump....I was sold. Took all of two seconds to decide that mental battle.
Especially when it is covered by the seat, can be bent back into place, and sealed with RTV along with the stock rubber plug put back into it. No leaks, no corrosion, no excess work, no issues with structural integrity........
...having the time to go blow more money on my Visa Card....priceless.

Also don't have have to burn up the gas in the tank so it won't weigh a sh*t ton? More $ out of pocket. Also if you have a FP issue you just need to pop the seat and pull back the metal. All of 5 minutes. It's a Contour/Cougar. It isn't worth anything to anyone but you. Having a couple cuts for access to a FP is the last thing I'd think about.

Yes it will. It is purely to allow a chip to works with PATS.
