as for the original poster, I agree with they guys that are saying that a flattering comment here and there is nice, but when someone offers up flowers and starts suggesting things, that kind of thing is not good. Im sure you and your wife are more than happy, especially after 3 children, but my concern lies with the other coworkers, they most likely will egg on this fellow and start some juicy work gossip. Id voice your concerns with the wife, though make sure she knows you trust her 100 percent. Id say a little chat with this fellow at work would be a good idea too.
