You can verify this by pulling the ground cable off the battery one night. When you re-attach it in the morning and the car starts then you know that you have a constant drain somewhere. Now you have to find it.

It will be something that has constant power. Your sig says that you have a big system. I'd start there. Feel on some of the wiring and compents and see if feel any heat. Heat=power. Check the condition of all the power cables for fraying, pinchpoints, and where they run through gromets or near bare metal.

First off, thanks for the great input. Lets say something involved with my system was shorting out. Would that really matter considering when the car is turned off, the deck shuts off and the amps shut off. So there is no power going to the amp or deck, correct? Or am I wrong? My thought was that if the everything was shut off/not running no power could be drained from it.

I had my battery checked at Ford. They did a test and they said it was good. They hooked up a volt gauge to the battery and put a load on. He said if the battery was bad then after he put the load on the battery volts would go down but they remained stable. The weird thing is when I had Advance Auto do it they left it on for 60-sec or something and towards the end of the 60 seconds the voltage dropped to 4-5. The guy at Ford only left the meter on for 20-sec top. Could it be a a bad battery after all? Should I get the battery re-tested at Advance Auto and see if this all happens again?

In regards to the alternator, I had that tested as well at Advance Auto (wow, I'm giving alot of plugs ) and apparently the alternator tested good. I look forward to your or someones response to this. I will try and check for shorts under my dash tomorrow.
