Stick it in your butt and rotate.

They're pretty easy to install, bolt it to the floor & run your cable.
I hear alot of Chevy talk here but apparently not many ford guys are on this FORd contour website! The mid 80's ford AOD was funny b/c it had 1st & 2nd together. So with my slap shifter You select 1st & it holds 1st when you bump it up it grabs 2nd but you have to pull it back in 1st for it to hold 2nd, then you wind it up bump back to 2nd & it goes into 3rd gear! usually that the end of the track but if you put it in drive thats overdrive! It takes some getting used to but its fun!
I don't "mod" I just fix what breaks!

My brother explained that to me once when he was playing with an 88 Mark VII LSC... That's a car I wouldn't mind picking up cheap.

I had 2 an 88 & an 89, both white! Pulled the air ride off of the 88 & put on coil springs, cammed it, and it was great. Ended up junking it & putting the engine in my truck.

I spend alot of time on this site looking at other peoples contours ,looking at mods and how to's. There are so many nice cars on this site that when i'm done for the nite my eyes are burning. But i must say that DeanJoyce.com's car is one of the nicest cars that i have seen. Very nice job. You should write a how to on the flush mount tail lights with the leds. That one mod cleand the car up more then most other body mods.

Yeah, ours had the check valve go bad (like $50 part), but still had a leaky driver's front airbag, so... My brother took some T-bird springs and made it work pretty good.
I gotta say that car sounded awesome right before he sold it, he put some big ass exhaust on there with Corvette mufflers... it was SO deep.
The real one I want is a 97/98 Mark VIII LSC, but those seem to have a ton of electrical problems.
