Hey everyone, I fell asleep after I posted before, so thank you all for the compliments. It's been quite a while since I've had any free time to get online and check out CEG. Here's some answers... PRE98: Thanks for those crystal clear pictures. Mind if I use them on my website? (when I eventually update it?) Oh, and thanks for the gangsta seat defense:) M!KEY: Although I bought a nice new DVD Handycam, the last time I used it was SZ05 LOL. I'm hoping to use it again, but it probably won't be until SZ06 LOL. KOKOPELLIAN: The seats are the Corbeau Wide Leather CR1's. Do you have any pics of those Recaro's you're talking about? MYSTIQUEVTWIN: The twin-turbo project is coming along (slowly). I'm hoping to have the layout done and the car driveable for SZ06. This past year my main focus has been on building my business stronger and construction of my showroom, finishing my turbo LS hatchback and H22Accord while keeping the Mystique Driveable to some degree. I did however decide to go with TWO new Garrett Gt28r turbo's. CONTOURSPD98: How much invested? Oh god I try not to think of that. When all is TOTALLY done (motor, tranny, suicide rear doors, full repaint a shade darker) I'm hoping to keep it under $60,000 in total. The motor/tranny/turbo setup alone might run me half of that total. I am determined to see 500+ hp, and dream of more POSTHUMAN: Your post made me laugh actually, but I was glad to see PRE98's reply. Maybe we'll meet at SZ06? If I can make it?

Hey Dean, you might want to research that Level 10 before throw out all that cash. From what I was able find, when doing all my research, the only thing they have that is any better than what any standard tranny shop can do is their Torque convertor. Other than that... nothing.
I'm not trying to knock the company, because they do awsome things with other ATX's! But other than their TC, every peice can be had for a lot less and with the same parts. And I hate to see people waste money!!
PM me if you have any questions about all this or about your tranny in general.

i forgot to say why its back that far... with my right hand on my hand control, giving it full throttle, i can slap-shift the shifter with my forearm/elbow. for those of you who don't know, i'm paralyzed, thats why i have an automatic and use the hand control for gas/brake:)
I knew that, just looks odd knowing its in a Contour....

Out of ignorance and a great deal a curiosity:
1. What is the benefit of this shifter? I think it looks cool and probably will even more so when you build the console but what is the purpose? 2. Is it difficult to install?
Thanks, Jon

Reminds me of the Hurst Olds Lightning Rods... If I sat in a car with Lightning Rods, I'd be like "Umm... ok, I KNOW I didn't forget how to drive an automatic!!!"
