Guys, Be carefull when you buy things from people that advertise on this group. Even some of the regulars are unscrupulous. I bought some wheels recently, paid the guy when he asked, only to have him tell me "heres your money, I sold them on E-bay". Well if they were on E-bay why-the-f$#% are you selling them in the CEG classifieds??? Some people piss me off and they know who they are!

because that is bussiness, if you want to sell something you need to advertise in a few different ways
I wouldn't be pissed about that as you could have ended up in the same situation if you bid on ebay
at least you didn't loose your money in the deal
actually if you think about it that could happen anywhere, anytime so whats your point of being pissed off?

Actually this post is useless in general. Stuff like that happens, people cross post things all the time. Same thing as selling a car on CEG and selling it locally. He probably couldn't contact you in time to say that his auction had already ended on ebay.

I agree with the rest...You got your money back, didnt get ripped off, and still have everything you started with....No loss Just get some different wheels!

Man id say you faired well. You could have ended up being ripped off the cash. Id say the guy you dealt with HAS scruples if he gave ya the money back.
