other spoiler lights ive seen like that are red leds with red cover, and yes thats the light im talking about.
so how did the guy in this picture do it?
bleach or stain of some sort maybe?

Clear is odd, red looks better and an improvement on that would be to get more color in there, like amber. If you're a monotoner then maybe it's your thing. But Clear? It's amazing how odd it looks, most clears look like you just took off the lens, and run without them. Not an improvement at all, looks more like you're missing parts......some of the examples in this thread look more like a color removal though, not really making them clear, and they don't look too bad....

yeah, i just want my spoiler brake light clear. that way it blends in with the white paint better.
