Don't know for sure, but i would bet that the LEDs themselves are red...

Issue with that is....how do the guts look? If the guts of the lamp...PCB, and mounting aren't too nice looking, It would be easier to hide that with a fluted cover like the ones i pointed out before... that's why i was thinking of the mazda 6 ones, they seemed to be similar shape and size (in certain directions)...but like i said before i never really looked much in depth...
I believe that the lamp unit is actually a Hella piece, iirc i remember seeing the hella logo on mine before...
If someone is considering this, pop one open just to have a look...and be sure to post pics.
