The drive to marriage is from their religous parents, and I'm guessing they have abstained from physical relations because of their beliefs.
They have stated they do not believe in divorce and who in the hell is going to have time to complain when ol girl is barefoot and pregnant making sammiches in the kitchen with 2 or 3 other tots running around. Ol boy, well, he will be working 2 jobs to make ends meet as I'm sure he will be tithing his 10% to the church.
Between bible study, church, and kids crap they will never see each-other, grow further apart, self loathe their lives, and never get divorced.
What a happy existence
My parents raised 3 kids in a Christian household - my mother didn't always have full time jobs, tithing was 10% always. God was always first in our lives, not money or material possesions. We always had a roof over our heads, food to eat, and clothes to keep us warm. Times did get tough, but in the end, we were happy. I'll be damned if any of us ever had regrets or "self loathing" Anyone who has never had a faithful relationship with God should take a walk in my mother's shoes sometime and realize what it's all about. Faith works.
Everyone struggles. No one is happy 100% of their entire lives. Just because they're Christian, doesn't mean their relationship won't go through the same struggles any other relationship goes through.
