1) We have known each other since we were about 5 years old, but her family moved away when she was 7 and came back to Michigan when she was 15. We have been dating/engaged since then.
2) When we disagree, we try to never raise our voices or say anything that we will regret later. We also never leave each other until the problem is solved.
3) We have had premarital counseling from 3 different pastors, so we can get a few different viewpoints.
4) We have worked through almost all of the major issues such as money, time, goals, and family/children.
5) She is better at compromising than I am, but I am working on it!
