actually i disagree with you. our grandparents moved great distances alone when they were that age, and went to war, and other amazing things. most 19 year olds nowadays have trouble holding down a job with 20 hours a week let alone stepping out of the their parents' homes. obviously there are exceptions but that was the norm back in the day. while the youth are "growing up" faster these days they certainly arent becoming responsible adults any sooner.

Well said Steve! I agree with everything you've said in this thread. Some people just need a touch of reality I guess, and the ripe young age of 18 and 19 hardly cuts it. I was 19 years old when I thought I found the love of my life. We were so into eachother, it was sick. Ofcourse, we both lived at home, and had nothing to worry about besides hanging out and having fun. We moved in together, and that's when reality sunk in. This is where I found that other side to her. She was a slob, didn't want to clean up after herself, always questioned me when I would hang out with friends. At that point, I said to myself, "I'm too young for this," and broke up with her. I guess that the reason pull out the "you're too young" card, is that responsibilities most likely haven't played a huge factor in your life. Once the bills start coming in, and you pickup on eachother's daily routines/habits, is when things get interesting. But if you can get through all of that, you'll be fine. Good luck!
