There isn't a difference between the turbo's. Our 19.5L SOHC inline 6-cylinder Detroit Diesel Series 60's use a Garret turbo, albeit a huge one. The turbo's size is relative to the engine. Now, I'm no turbo/physics tech, but I think you can engineer the turbo to spool up quicker by using different turbines inside the turbo. Did I make that up?

...and on topic, that Civic's motor had better build built solid to push over that big ass turbo, or it'll lag like a sommbeech until 11k.
