Plugs didn't help one bit. I stopped, left the engine running, and started to pull plug wires from the coil pack looking for the missing cylinder. As I was doing this the miss went away. I looked for arching in the dark but didn't see any. I'm ready to take the car out and shoot it!

Did you grease the boots? Intermittent stuff is like that, go looking, it hides .

I always silicone grease them up. Old plugs looked OK and had no carbon tracks.

Went out today and the car acted stupid. I headed back to plug it into the scanner and the bug went away! It throws no codes but I can at least record data and run a cylinder balance test to see which cylinder it is....
