Hey guys, I'm new to the scene and I love my Contour. I have already dropped it(B+G) I've got some 17's with Falken rubber, Drilled rotors are on the way as well as ss lines. Gauge pods with temp, oil, and Battery in. The car is basically a virgin other than that. Stock everything. Its a 96 (canada model) 5spd and 2.5 . I want it to posess more seat of the pants power. The suspension is good and the brakes will be up to par so whats next...HP and torque. Please fellow Tour owners, give me your best ideas for optimum performance for a daily driver. I will spend no more than 3000 bucks so lets keep it sweet. Thanx all

might as well add the lower intake manifold and throttle body. Heck add a set of headers and y-pipe as well. All of that and whats above will probably run you about $1500. Or you could wait for the new ADC turbo kit to be released. It should be close to the $3K pricetag.

Exactly - the SVTs aren't that special. There's no reason not do work on a regular Duratec.

OK so far youve chosen Lower and upper svt IM, SVT TB, Headers, Y pipe , Exhaust, and Open filter. Now what about those svt cams? from what I understand, the intakes will work fine, but what would be needed with the cams?. 2.25 or 2.5 inch through? What will all this net me HP wise guys?
