Reminds me of my buddy in Detroit suburbs. His commute can vary between 15 minutes and 1 hour depending on if he's 10 minutes late getting out the door and is only going about 10-12 miles total.
I'll stick to Iowa. In the dead of rush hour it takes me 20 minutes max to go 10 miles home.

52 miles ... longest it has taken me is 1 hour, 20 minutes and that was due to an accident. That is without taking the Dulles Greenway. With the Greenway, I can get home in 55 minutes ... $3 or 15 extra minutes ... I'll save the $3 thank you!
