Defeats the purpose of a group buy, but its not to hard rob. It just takes patience and skill. Fiberglass and bondo thats all. I suppose a good eye helps too

If you want to have a smooth paint job, it's not in the paint but the surface you are paining. That surrond needs to be sanded, primered, sanded again, more filler (if needed), sanded, primered, sanded and then paint. I would use 500 - 600 grit to knock down any body filler and 800 for finishing off the primer to get ready for paint.
When you use textured paint it is in the Paint...
