I would say pulling the head with the engine in the car woudl be a PITA. I pulled the bank 1 head with the engine out of the car and there is no way I would even attemp it with the engine in the car, even bank 2 head. Having to deal with the engine front cover, timing chains, Cam shafts, timing...

I would agree with the shop vac with a small tube idea.
