I love Texas. If you want to mod your car, move here. As long as you have a muffler of some sort, aren't spilling oil all over the road, and aren't in the act of racing when you get pulled over, the police could give two hoots about how "modified" your car is. However, there is a definite bias towards stupid rednecks getting pulled over because they "felt like" running straight pipes on their '78 F150 with a full-race 460....a friend of mine, don't ask...
