I'm trying to decide between the new blackberry, treo 650, and ppc6700. I'm Sprint and that's not gonna change. I really want the 6700 for the faster connection, bigger keyboard, and wifi.
Any advice?

I love the Treo for its Palm OS and expansion capabilities (road-map GPS capable, full-size keyboard, etc). My Ericsson T616 still hasn't kicked the bucket so I have no reason to upgrade yet, but when I do rest assured it will be a smartphone, likely a Treo. I'm interested in other opinions too ...

This won't apply to you, since you have Sprint, but HTC is making some cool bar and PDA style phones that run Windows Mobile 5.0 with 802.11b wireless among your other standard items (bluetooth, camera, etc).
So far they only work for GSM, but some of the older HTC products made it to C/TDMA providers.

I have the ppc-6700, which is actually an HTC product.
Anyway, I really do like it, its a bit large, and not the most convenient as a phone. But, with a bluetooth headset, and a good belt holster (Seidioonline has a really good one) it is a really handy device.

I have an older Kyocera 7135, and I don't think any of the newer ones provide as good of a phone/PDA balance as the 7135 does.

I like my Treo plenty. Battery life is great as well. The keypad kinda sux, but it works.

I've had a Treo 600, 650 and an early Blackberry (the model number escapes me); I'm firmly in the Treo camp. Blackberries are excellent e-mail devices, but the utterly suck as phones, IMHO.
The Treo 650 has turned out to be a good balance of it all for me; much better than the Blackberry, though I'm keeping an open mind on upcoming products...

Rara- Do you have the holster where the device snaps in, or a leather one that has a flap that closes over it?
I've looked at an aluminum case from seido (from a 6700 users forum) it it looks promising.
I think I'm going to get the 6700 for the EVDO, bigger keyboard, and wifi (I have a wifi in my home) wish they did sprint tv...
