Yes, it is done with vinyl. I went to see "Parkedcar" at his shop and he did it for me.

Not a hard mod but it is a bit time consuming. You want all the vinyl to wrap around and lay flat, keeping it smooth as you go.

I thought that side by side picture would help you to see what they were talking about. Glad to help.

about the aftermarket sunroof. If you want the full sliding moonroof, you can find a "webasto" installer, and they sell aftermarket sliding moonroofs installed for $1200, but seriously just find a contour with a moonroof and save yourself the hassle.

Like Goonz said, its probabuly better to lower the car with a nice suspension kit then to chop the top (and most likely more affordable.)

You do realize what car he has right?
Its already lowered, also kinda hard to do a B pillar mod on a black car.

401 FWHP is what his car has if your wondering

I have a parts car with moonroof, that's why I asked...I was just wondering whether to cut and swap the whole roof, mechanism, rails, motor, everything, or just the actual cut-out for the moonroof and then transplant everything else. It seems to me that just cutting the rectangular section and transplanting everything else would be the best. Any thoughts?

If my roof was any lower, I'd bump my head while driving!

Speaking of the Chrysler sedans, my mom has a 300M. So every time I visit home, our cars are parked side by side. I've never really noticed that the Chrysler's roofline is lower.

The roof line isn't lower on the 300, The belt line is higher and the roof is flatter to create that illusion.
